I’m a Ph.D. student in computer science/software engineering at the University of Tokyo. My research is mainly about programming languages and novel ways of composing software components. After graduating from Imperial College London (B.Sc. in joint Mathematics and Computer Science), I also had a brief stint as a financial software developer. I am Swedish by birth.
In my spare time, I do things like playing the piano (improvisation/jazz), studying Japanese, and travelling. I also try to learn about philosophy and play video games.
This blog is intended to be an outlet for ideas and thoughts, on computing and on other topics. If I write about computer science or programming languages, I should be coming from a somewhat informed perspective. Other topics I write about largely without formal qualifications. Readers beware!
